About our Organization
Kideo Kid Educare Centre is a registered
community centre founded over 30 years ago by the late Mrs. Veronica Nkosi. What
started as a pre-school, evolved over the years to a community centre that has
taken care of thousands of orphans, widows and the less privileged. In 2014, a
year after her passing, the community celebrated Mrs. Veronica’s legacy by
voting to name the main 5km road passing through the centre Vero Street, after
her. The centre has been a beacon of hope for the Msogwaba community.
Kideo Kid Educare Centre educates,
feeds and takes care of over 100 less privileged children daily for free. We
also provide one nutritious meal to over 300 children in our community on
weekends and school holidays, as most only rely on the meal they receive at
school to feed. This has been made possible through the support of the National
Lottery Commission, Nelspruit Community Forum and KFC. We have also in
partnership with the Msogwaba Tribal Authority, his excellency the chief of
Msogwaba and the Mpumalanga Leadership forum, been distributing food parcels to
widows in our community.
